Teens | Creative Arts Dance Center in Holmen, WI

Ages: Middle School & High School
When: Tuesdays, 9:30-10:30am
Cost: $40 for four weeks
Location: Holmen, WI

Four weeks of dance! Excellent for beginners. We will try many styles of dance including ballet and Hip Hop (emphasis is placed on Hip Hop, which includes jumping, bouncing, kicking, rocking.)
Your student will have a blast learning the foundations of dance. We will also learn the foundational elements of ballet.

What to wear:
Feet: Socks and tennis shoes.
Clothes:Athletic Wear. Something they feel comfortable moving in!

We separate classes into monthly options so your family can try something new! Each month the students will learn new curriculum. To get the most out of the experience we recommend all 3 months! There will be an informal show at the end of the program for those who would like to participate.

Teens Hip Hop Dance Classes

Hip hop is a culture, not just a style of dance. The base of hip hop is groove - moving to the music! Learning groove will help kids be lifelong movers and dancers. High energy and fun, hip hop will be sure be a highlight of the week!

Teens Songwriting Classes

Learn to write song lyrics and put them to simple chords and melody. Each student will create at least one song of their own! We will learn verse/chorus song structure, rhyme, poetic devices, syllable counting, and more. - We would like to offer more Teens songwriting classes. Contact us if you are interested and we can get one started!!

Songwriting classes for kids in Holmen, WI

Teen Songwriting & Music Making Lab

Ages: 7+
When: Thursdays | 6:50-7:45pm
Cost: $40 for entire month
Location: Holmen, WI

You can join us for just one month, or for multiple!

Learn how to express yourself through writing music. We will focus on the fun basics of music theory, how to cultivate a creative process, learn poetic devices, and practice lyric writing! All kids will practice creating and recording songs of their own!

We are hoping to put together an optional, informal show at the end of the program for those who would like to participate.

Teens Piano Classes

We teach the underlying concepts of playing the piano. The music theory that creates every song we know. First, we learn how to identify notes, what makes a scale, and what makes a chord. Once we understand chords, we learn the basic chord progressions that make up most songs and music. We practice rhythm, learning different beats and how to put them on the piano.

People actually see results extremely fast using this method, and then they get to the part they love - making music - before they get bored and quit.

Once people feel they can express their emotions through an instrument, it's magical.

2025 - After School

Piano Class

Ages: 5+
When: Thursday nights | 4:30-5:10pm
Cost: $50 for entire month
Location: Holmen, WI

Come learn piano in a group format. We will learn how to read notes, understand the piano, and create chords! A great introduction to playing the piano!

Four weeks, four Thursdays a month for 40 minutes of piano in an interactive group format. Space is limited.
